*Snow Wall Walk Event may be cancelled due to unexpected weather conditions for safety reasons.

*Depending on how much snow falls, the height of snow wall may vary every year.

*In a case of suspension of any transportation in Alpine route due to unpredictable weather, there is a possibility that you may not be able to get through the entire route.

*Bringing baby strollers is not recommended since there are many stairs and it is generally not going to be a convenient environment.

TATEYAMA KUROBE ALPINE ROUTE

The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is a sightseeing route in Chubu Sangaku National Park, connecting Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture and Omachi in Nagano Prefecture. The route affords breathtaking vistas across the North Alps, you can make the ascent by cable car, trolley bus and ropeway. The best scenery in spring is the towering walls of snow from April to May. At 2,450 meters, Murodo-daira receives an average of over 20 meters of snow each winter, one of the heaviest snowfalls in the world.

[ DAY 1 ] 7：50: Meeting at Meitetsu Bus Center 4F, Nagoya Station

10：40: Free Time in Takayama (Approx. 110 min.)

You will enjoy the antique streets and culture. Since Takayama is also known as a town of delicious local cuisines, you will also be delighted at eating out and shopping for souvenirs.
*Lunch is not included. Please enjoy eating out while strolling in the old town of Takayama.

13：35: Free Time in World Heritage Shirakawa-go (Approx. 100 min.)

The village of Shirakawa-go was registered as an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1995 for being “a remarkable example of the view or accumulations of a certain form of buildings and architectural techniques that illustrate the certain period of time, which is highly important in the history of human being. “
The center of the Gassho-zukuri communities is in the slightly northern side of the central area: Ogimachi District. You will learn the wisdom of traditional ways of living together with nature at the interactive facilities or historical museums of the local traditional cultures.

17：20: Stay at Oarks Canal Park Hotel Toyama

*Dinner is not included. Please enjoy eating out after arriving at Oarks Canal Park Hotel Toyama.

*The departure time may be earlier than the scheduled time.
The return time may be significantly late if the Alpine route is crowded.
*The tour itinerary on the second day may need to be adjusted due to the traffic conditions in Alpine Route.
*In a case of suspension of any transportations in Alpine route due to some reasons such as bad weather, you may not be able to get through the entire route. You will visit Kanazawa instead, and you will recieve a partial refund.

*Tateyama Cable Car between Tateyama Sta. and Bijodaira may be substituted by a bus.

Snow Wall : Enjoy strolling for about 500 meters along the Snow Corridor. (Approx. 60 min.)
Roasted eel lunch box at Restaurant Tateyama! (Approx. 60 min.)

1. Please be advised that this tour is designed for Japanese citizens and basically conducted by a Japanese tour guide in Japanese. For foreign visitors, English or Chinese tourist information handout will be provided.

2. The customers cannot request any specific seat, and generally the foreign visitors will be seated at the back of the bus for convenience. A group with more than 10 people may be asked to be assigned to the seats at the back. Additionally, if the customers apply with an odd number of people, they may be asked to be seated next to the other guest.

3. Depending on the weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled. In this case, we will inform you about it by email and on Facebook by a day before your tour date.

4. The tour itinerary may need to be adjusted and the returning time may be delayed due to traffic or weather conditions.

5. Refunds will not be given for any itinerary changes, such as shortening the duration or leaving the tour group for personal reasons.
